If you’re putting up a locally produced professional production in Ottawa-Gatineau, your production can be considered for the Prix Rideau Awards!

We accept applications year-round, but suggest submitting any and all shows to be considered when the submission form opens in June. Requests made 90 days before opening night throughout the season will be considered, but the Prix Rideau Awards cannot guarantee evaluation. This will depend on the availability of a sufficient number of jurors without conflicts of interest with the submitted production. Early submissions allow a significant amount of time for the Jury members to plan ahead for their attendance. If for whatever reason the show is not adjudicated (jury was not available, production was cancelled, etc.) the fee will be waived in its entirety. There is no cancellation fee.

Once your application has been received and processed, you will be contacted to confirm participation in the awards program and to make arrangements for complimentary juror tickets. Tickets for productions taking place at the Ottawa Fringe Festival will be arranged directly with Fringe Box Office, not the individual producers.
